Cadbury House enhances its Sunday lunch experience by introducing renowned pianist Matthew O’Connor, who will serenade guests at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill every Sunday from 17th March onwards. Matthew's captivating performances, featuring classic tunes and original compositions, complement the convivial atmosphere, promising to elevate guests' dining enjoyment.

Guests who visit Cadbury House for Sunday lunch will be able to enjoy their food even more thanks to the introduction of a top pianist.

Starting from Sunday 17 March, those who pop along to the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill will now be serenaded by the gentle tones of Matthew O’Connor, a renowned musician from Bristol.

Matthew will play through his repertoire from 12.30pm until 3.00pm every Sunday, including some well-known classics along with some of his own compositions.

Adding to what is already a convivial, relaxed atmosphere, the team at the hotel and restaurant is now looking forward to making guest’s visits even more enjoyable.

Matilda Burgess, marketing manager at Cadbury House said: “Sunday lunch at the Steakhouse is incredibly popular and we’re delighted that we can now include Matthew to people’s enjoyment.

“The sound of a live pianist will certainly add to the overall experience and atmosphere of dining in the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse. It’s not intrusive and we can’t wait for Matthew to start.”

Having played for VIPs such as Emma B of the Spice Girls and the Greek Prime Minister, Matthew also played for the Red Arrows aerial display team, which he initially thought was a stag party trying to look like the pilots!

He now teaches the piano from his home in Bedminster and composes library music for TV and radio which has been used programmes such as the BBC's The One Show.

Matthew added: “It’s great to be able to play for guests of the hotel and restaurant. Live music forms such an important part of many people’s lives but many don’t get the opportunity to get out and enjoy a show or concert.

“To enjoy a drink and meal to the accompaniment of live music, will hopefully make the day much more relaxing and maybe inspire some to either learn or get out to see more live music.”
